Driving
Select your favorite route that intersects with I-95 along the east coast of Florida. Follow I-95 to Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach/A1A exit (Exit #373). Go east on A1A for 15 miles. You will cross the main bridge onto the island. Continue on A1A to the 2nd light and turn right onto Sadler Road. Travel east on Sadler to the roundabout. Enter the roundabout and go left (north). Continue on Fletcher Avenue for 2 miles. Elizabeth Pointe Lodge is on the right (ocean side), where you will check-in for your house or condo.
Flying
Jacksonville International Airport is the closest commercial airport. The major car rental agencies are located at the airport. Exit the airport East to I-95. Head north on I-95 (toward Savannah) approximately 8 miles and exit to Amelia Island (exit #373). Follow the driving directions above.
Private pilots may use the Fernandina Beach Airport, 55J. Lighted, fuel, 4/22 5000'+, Unicom 122.7. Car rentals are available or we can arrange to pick you up.
Ferry
From the south, A1A or the beaches (Jacksonville), take the Mayport
access road (Highway A1A) to the ferry dock. There will be signs to direct you. Follow the signs, A1A will dead end at the ferry dock. The Ferry makes trips to and from Amelia Island every 30 minutes until 10 pm. After disembarking, go through the tollgate and turn right on A1A, continue for approximately 15 miles. As you come onto Amelia Island, you will go through two roundabouts. Turn right at the flashing light at First Coast Highway and Fletcher Avenue (A1A) - there is a convenience store and fruit stand on the corner. You are now on Fletcher Avenue. Drive north for about 6.5 miles until you reach 98 South Fletcher Ave. The Elizabeth Pointe Lodge will be on your right.
